We have fun and/or informative low-cost trips of varying lengths for members of the Santa Maria Valley Senior Citizen’s Club at the Elwin Mussell Center. In fact, our motto is “Older Kids Having Fun.” We are a non-profit organization.
Kathy Doty is our Committee Chair. Her duties are to research and book trips, assign the Tour Leads to the trips, and then promote the trips to the membership.
Our volunteer Travel Committee members help with the organizing, planning, and selling of the offered trips, and are available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Mussell Center. Call (805) 349-0688 for information.
The Travel Committee volunteers are also Tour Leads (TLs) on each of our trips to help make each outing fun and safe for our senior travelers. The committee is always looking for volunteers and TLs, so please call the number above if you interested in participating.
