This fun chair exercise class sponsored by the City of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department is a combination of low-impact routines designed to increase bone and muscle strength and flexibility for everyday life. Class has both sitting and standing exercises. This beginning class is designed to help participants progress to an intermediate level. Recommended for those with medical or physical limitations with their activities of daily living. Class is limited to 30 participants. Currently held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. All participants must pre-register online at the city’s website or in the office at 615 South McClelland Street. No walk-ins allowed.
